A standard service on a single split air conditioner takes about 45–60 minutes. It may take longer if the outdoor unit is difficult to reach.

No. An air conditioner works on a sealed circuit, so if there is no leak the refrigerant doesn't run low. If the gas is low, the leak must first be found and fixed, and only then should the system be recharged.

Usually the drain hose is blocked or the unit has been mounted at a tilt. Switch the air conditioner off and call us; we will clean the drain line and, if necessary, level the unit.

Yes. We carry out new air conditioner installations, removal and refitting when you move, and relocations, all with vacuuming and a leak-tightness test.

A standard combi boiler service takes about 1 hour. If radiator flushing is included, it can take 2–3 hours depending on the number of radiators.

When the boiler is cold, the pressure should be between 1.2 and 1.5 bar. It is normal for it to rise to around 2 bar while running; if it goes above 3 bar, call a technician.

You can reset the boiler once. If the error comes back, send us the code and the boiler's brand; our technician will arrive prepared.

If your radiators are hot at the top and cold at the bottom, or are slow to heat up, sediment has built up in the system. Radiator flushing speeds up heating and saves fuel.

In a kitchen with an existing flue connection, a standard cooker hood installation takes about 1 hour. It takes longer if a new duct needs to be made.

Metal grease filters should be washed once a month; carbon filters should be replaced every 3–6 months depending on how heavily they are used.

This is usually a fault in the flame safety device (thermocouple). Stop using the hob, turn off the gas valve and call us.
